Pineapple is a popular crop in Vietnam. Farmers harvest more than 1 million tons of pineapples and discard several million tons of pineapple leaves every year. Pineapple leaves are processed mainly by cutting and burning in the field. In order to protect the environment, improve the value of pineapples, create livelihoods for rural people and disadvantaged people in society, ECOSOI was established to turn pineapple leaves into green fibers, creating many high-class products to meet the needs of domestic and international markets. In the future, Ecosoi will not only cease its endeavors with pineapple fiber extraction; rather, we shall extend our efforts towards the extraction of banana fibers and other varieties of natural fibers, furthering our development and expansion. ECOSOI appreciates and is grateful for the affection of partners, customers and consumers for ECOSOI products.
